Our mission at Don't Let Cancer Steal 2nd Base is to foster a sense of unity and solidarity within our community while raising awareness and support for those affected by cancer. We believe in the power of coming together, both on and off the field, to make a lasting impact on individuals and families facing this challenging journey.

Through the game of softball, we aim to create an environment that not only celebrates athleticism and teamwork but also underscores the significance of early detection, education, and support in the fight against Cancer.

Don't Let Cancer Steal 2nd Base was founded in 2015. Since then we have been providing a growing community tournament aimed at raising cancer awareness, as well as supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. In 2023 we became a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit corporation to build the infrastructure necessaryto support the loving team needed to help more and more people year over year.

Don't Let Cancer Steal 2nd Base proudly supports Long Beach, CA and our neighboring local cities. Plans for expansion across Southern California are underway.

We keep only our operating costs to continue to host events. All other funds are distributed to individuals and families experiencing hardships as a result of their compounding medical expenses and/or inability to work while receiving treatment. These recipients are nominated by application. If you'd like to nominatesomeone in need, please email this application to Cat@DontLetCancerSteal2ndBase.com. 

Yes. As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit any contributions of money, goods or services are tax deductible. Upon contributing you will receive a contributor's Receipt with our tax information. Keep this form for your tax preparation to insure you receive your due deduction.
